These terms cover your use of Comilo, a calorie tracker for iPhone. Using the app means you accept them.

The account

Comilo needs an account, which you create with Sign in with Apple or with Google. You are responsible for what happens under your account. One person, one account.

What Comilo is, and is not

Comilo helps you log meals and estimate their calories and macros. The estimates are approximate, and on the free plan you enter the numbers yourself. Nothing in the app is medical or nutritional advice. If you have a health condition, or you are deciding anything that matters to your health, talk to a professional rather than relying on an estimate here.

Comilo Pro

Comilo Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, offered monthly or yearly with a free trial for new subscribers. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. It renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the period ends, and your Apple Account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before then. Comilo Pro has no ads, and never will.

Manage or cancel the subscription in the App Store, under your Apple Account. Deleting your Comilo account does not cancel a subscription; cancel it separately there. An unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.

Your content

The meals, photos, objectives and weights you log are yours. You give Comilo permission to store and show them back to you so the app can work. On the Pro plan, a meal's photo and description are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to produce an estimate, as the privacy policy describes.

Fair use

Do not misuse the service: no attempts to break, overload or reverse-engineer it, and no using it to break the law. We may suspend an account that does.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from Profile, which erases your data from our servers. See the privacy policy for exactly what that removes and when backups age out.

No warranty

Comilo is provided as is, without warranties. We work to keep it running and accurate, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free, and the estimates are not guaranteed. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid for the service in the past twelve months.

Changes

These terms may change. If a change is significant, the app will say so before it takes effect. Continuing to use Comilo after that means you accept the new terms.
